I can admit that I’m not a super spontaneous or flexible human being.
I try my best to go with the flow, but at the end of the day, it just isn’t who I am.
I like things in a particular way, at a particular time, in my own particular fashion. And I don’t think I’m ever going to change. One of the things that I’ve been working on lately is being okay going into public places without freaking out. Honestly, I hate being in crowds, I hate being out of control, and I hate the indoor air quality control settings that most places have programmed into their thermostats. Don’t get me wrong, I understand that there are business expenses such as high quality heating, cooling, and air quality control devices that not everyone can afford. If you’re looking to cut down costs in your business, you probably aren’t buying the most up to date, high tech heating, cooling, and air purification equipment available. You also probably aren’t sacrificing all your money to an energy bill on a regular basis, when you definitely have other expenses to watch out for. However, I think it’s horrible when you enter a public establishment and find out that they have subpar indoor air quality control, if they offer any indoor air quality control at all. I can’t tell you how often my allergies have started acting up and my body has started reacting to the uneven temperature spots in a public location. Every time, I’m completely upset by the failing heating and cooling plan, and I actually have to leave. I get so uncomfortable that I need to vacate the poorly maintained HVAC system right away so I can finally get back to the comfort and safety of my own indoor temperature control setup. Say goodbye to another paying customer.
