Searching into heated flooring

I have been looking into heated flooring for my house, but i hated the old, brown rug that came with my house. It was dirty and gross looking. I hated that it matched the walls and ceiling too much. So I ripped up the brown rug and I am in the process of adding cement to the floors. I observed something while working on the tile. I am in the perfect locale to add the electric heated mats down. It is just one more step. I need to add the mats to the plywood and then I am nice to go. I then put a cement overtop! Tile is the best type of flooring for this heater, and you feel all the heat it produces. There are tons of pros to heated flooring, heat doesn’t rise, there are no frosty spots, it doesn’t stir up dust and is quiet in operation. Having the heat at your feet is more energy smart too. You can set the thermostat a bit lower and save your system and the apartment energy bills. It just makes nice sense to do it. The only cons I found is that it raises and adds weight to the modern floors; Additionally, there is the added cost and time to put down the mats as well. I have been crunching some numbers. I recognize adding heated flooring will benefit me financially in the long haul. I also recognize the added time is worth what I am getting. It will be so awesome having heated flooring. It really will make my apartment classy.
