Both of us even had desserts ready for everybody to love after the ceremony was completed
It was wonderful seeing our child who is a boy scout getting new merit badges during a merit badge ceremony. He had been working extra difficult getting into everything. He was helping out the elderly, doing community service, learning about gun safety and all sorts of things. The only problem at this ceremony was the fact that the A/C plan seemed to quit working. It was becoming sweltering in the building in no time. The funny thing is, it was genuinely cooler outside than it was in this building. Somebody commanded both of us all go outside, and that’s exactly what both of us did. Both of us set up the chairs outside and there was a nice breeze out there. I think both of us could have opened the windows in the building, even though I think it still would have been warm in there. They called an Heating as well as Air Conditioning expert to come repair the cooling plan in the building, but an Heating as well as Air Conditioning expert wasn’t available until the following day. Both of us weren’t trying to postpone the rest of the ceremony, so outside basically had to do. It actually wasn’t that disappointing when both of us got out there though. Both of us even had desserts ready for everybody to love after the ceremony was completed. It was nice as both of us got later into the night too because it started to cool off even more outside and the temperatures actually became comfortable. I still turned on the cooling plan on the way back home, and our child was talking about all the merit badges he gained and he was telling us that eventually, he was going to toil up to being an Eagle Scout. Now that’s a huge achievement and of course both of us would be proud to see him accomplish that.
