This years seems to just get worse with every passing month.
I’ve had some bad years before but this is just ridiculous.
Although, I should probably thank my lucky stars because there are a lot of folks who have it much worse. At least my wife and I still have jobs. I am working from inside the HVAC at home. My wife is in retail and she is taking all the precaution in order to work her job. However, due to the nature of both our jobs, we are taking a significant pay cut. We both derive much of our salary from revenue goals and sales bonus. All of that has been put on hold. The kids are at home in the HVAC as well. They are doing online school. This has been a real adjustment since I am at home and have to do the monitoring. But, we felt that we were finally getting some traction. The summer was over and the worst of the heat in our region is shifting. Things were sort of looking up. Then the HVAC clunked out. I called the heating & cooling professionals right away. They’re great and we have been doing business with them for as long as we’ve lived in this town. The HVAC tech was quick to get out here but, it was bad new for us. There was a fairly significant part that had failed. This HVAC repair was going to be expensive. Initially, I considered finding someone else to do it for far cheaper. There are some handymen in our area that will do this sort of HVAC work. But in the end, I knew the only people I wanted repairing the HVAC were the professionals.
