The automated lighting program software was hacked

Automated lighting systems are a enjoyable way to save money, especially in a corporation office, then automated lighting systems can be set on timers or they can be controlled with sensors, there is an automated lighting program in our office. In the morning, the lights come on precisely at 7:05. The lights in the office turn off at the same time in the evening. If a guy is toiling late in their office, they have to manually turn on a separate switch that overrides the automated lighting system, and not that many of weeks ago, both of us had some problems with our software. The program was hacked… During the middle of the morning, the lights shut off. All of the lights in the building shut down at the same time. They did not come back on until 30 minutes later. Then the lights went off again plus came back on 10 minutes later. The entire lighting program seemed to be shorting out, so our pasta salad to contact the guy responsible for the automated system, then later that day. Technical department found someone had hacked the system. They only had access to the lights for a couple of minutes, plus then the program shut down plus locked out. The technical department added a special program to keep the hacker from accessing our software again, then we haven’t had any other problems with the lighting plus things have been absolutely quiet around the office. The office has absolutely gone back to corporation as normal, hopefully both of us won’t have any more problems with software plus laptop hackers in the future.
