I had opened a screen printed t-shirt business in the downtown district.
I wasn’t getting a lot of business, and I wanted to put out some advertising.
The very first thing I did was to put an ad in the newspaper, and then on the internet. I then went to a commercial signage vinyl company and order a vinyl wrap for my business. I apparently expect a vinyl wrap for the company to be some door wraps, a window vinyl wrap for the back window, that fit… and maybe some vinyl wraps for the bumper. I didn’t expect them to send a huge commercial signage vinyl wrap that would encompass my entire car. The auto shop once called and said he wasn’t sure how to put the vinyl wrap on my car. I asked what he was actually talking about and he told me I would need to come into the auto shop. He said he truly didn’t have a professional vinyl wrap guy there, and although he had done plenty of tinted windows before, he had done nothing to deal with this. I hopped in the automobile and headed to the auto shop. What I saw had me beyond confused and upset. The commercial signage vinyl they sent was not some tiny door vinyls and windows vinyls. It was hideous, and I told him to send it back to the sign company. The next afternoon I called the commercial signage vinyl shop and told them exactly what I got. She tried to tell me that is what I ordered, even though I knew it wasn’t and simply asked for my money back. I had several arguments with them before they offered my money back, however they refused to do work with me again.
