Have you ever wanted to experience a new place but stayed away from the overpriced hotels? This is what our partner & I prefer doing when both of us have time away from work. Our first trip was to this small city with amazing historical sites a week after both of us met. This place was so amazing & quiet that both of us wished we’d live there. Instead of booking a hotel, both of us opted to stay with this amazing older couple with a room to let. They hosted us & even made studying about the history of this part so interesting. Since then, both of us stay in small vacation rentals, cottages or rent a room in homes. Last winter, both of us wanted to see how life is up north when the snow comes down. This prompted us to book this remote cottage in the middle of a forest where we’d spend a week. My hope was that this place had a fantastic heating idea to keep us moderate throughout our stay. I fear getting too chilly at night since I always wake up shivering. My partner did the booking & confirmed that the cottage had ample heating in all the rooms. The guy tried to fidget with the temperature control, but nothing happened so both of us chose to go back to the reception. The employer came by to apologize for the faulty heating idea & asked us to be patient as an HVAC expert takes a look.
