I already have a difficult time concentrating as it is, and the last thing I need is some loud banging noise in the background.
I have recently switched jobs, and this is my first time ever working from home, so I am still getting used to all of the noise. In my old office, it was nice and quiet. Well my home is not that way at all. There’s my neighbor’s dog that must start barking at around 6 in the morning. This same neighbor is also a drummer, and he plays well into the night. Add the sound of lawnmowers and loud people and you can get a fairly good image of what I deal with on a daily basis. As if all of that wasn’t enough, there has been a recent addition to our home, sound wise. Loud banging. The banging noise is coming from the A/C machine, and I made this unfortunate discovery after it woke me up in the middle of the night. I was right in the middle of a great dream when it was interrupted by the HVAC device’s loud noise. I couldn’t stop the noise, nor could I turn the HVAC component off, because then my home would overheat. So then I was stuck listening to that awful sound all day long, I probably only slept an hour or two that night. After hearing more of the atrocious sound this morning, I was close to pulling my hair out! I can’t concentrate, or do anything with all of the combined sounds in the background creating the world’s worst symphony! The banging noise has got to go first, and I will call the A/C company immediately for an appointment. Next I will be talking to my neighbor about all of the noise.
