A week ago, my niece came to visit me, and she was so excited to spend time in a new place.
- She is super adventurous and loves to be outdoors and luckily for me, I live in the warmer part of the country, so we are having nice weather right now.
It has been warm outside with temperature rising into the upper 80s but because the humidity is so low, it feels like heaven outdoors. When it comes to the weather, Spring is definitely one of the better seasons of the year. Because my niece was staying with me for an entire week, I wanted to make sure that I had our itinerary planned out. Call me a control freak, but it just made things easier when I knew what was on the agenda for the day. The first day, I took her to the park, the next day, we went to the beach, and the third day, I wanted to do something educational but that didn’t work out as scheduled. I planned on taking her to the library for a cool workshop, but when we got to the library, the building was closed due to a broken HVAC system. And although the weather was nice outside, I understand why the library would close because of HVAC issues. Not only does the HVAC system provide heating and cooling, but it also provides proper ventilation. And without proper ventilation, indoor air quality can become dangerous because pollutants can build up in the air. Over time, insufficient ventilation can lead to breathing as well as other issues. The workshop was canceled without further notice, so I ended up taking my niece to a museum that had a working HVAC system.
