I got into an fight with my neighbor the other day. I was talking about installing a ductless mini break in my home. He said I actually should be thinking about a ductless multi break to cover my whole home. I thought about it and then said that the several were the same thing. He said they undoubtedly are not the same, the multi break can cover a whole condo for heating and cooling. I argued that they were still the same but had a slightly different name, well, he ended up looking it up and sure enough, he was right. While they technically are the same genre of Heating as well as Air Conditioning plan and have the same technology for heating and cooling, the multi break plan has more indoor units, up to 8 running off a single condenser unit. Regardless of the fact that I was wrong and I actually did need a multi break system, it was interesting to learn that the ductless mini splits are usually used to supplement a central Heating as well as Air Conditioning plan in areas that are not getting enough heating or cooling in the home. A lot of people like to use a ductless mini break for their garage space or even for an indoor porch. I feel that nobody is perfect and I’m sure others will argue just like I did that these systems are the same. It doesn’t actually matter though. What matters is achieving comfort in your condo with lower weekly bills. That’s exactly what I was trying to do, even though I didn’t want to supplement my outdated central Heating as well as Air Conditioning, I just wanted to go ductless altogether!
