Blake has only been to visit his grandpa and grandma in the city several times. As a country boy, his whole life revolves around their farm. Blake is a third generation dairy farmer in the midwest, and not a fan of the sizable city. Still, there are times when he wants an escape from the grind, and that’s when Blake goes to visit his grandma and grandpa. They chose to go away from the country, and never looked back. His mom says country life is not for them, and it was lovely they found somewhere nice to live. They’re still close, but only get to see each other once or twice a year. The previous summer, grandpa called with news that grandma had been in an accident, and was in the hospital. By the time they left the farm, his grandpa was at the house getting better so Blake and his mom went straight there. Their home was just as impressive as ever, but this time the air quality was much different.Grandpa happened to mention that they hired a HVAC business to take care of the replacement. They got a new heating and AC plan in place to replace an old one they had. The former HVAC system had been there for close to 17 years, and it was time for a replacement. After talking a little with grandma, Blake left her and his mom to talk as he went to find his grandpa in the family room. Blake passed the hallway where there was a new thermostat in place. His grandpa happened to be coming in his direction and informed Blake that it was a smart thermostat. He showed Blake how to use it, and he knew he had to have one back home.
