This winter has been extremely hard on me for a large number of reasons.
One of the things that has made everything a little worse has been the problems that have been coming with my heating unit.
I had heard from a few different HVAC techs over the years that my drain pipe had been a major problem and would need to be replaced or fixed. I ended up having another HVAC company send out a technician with the hopes of having them go ahead and replace the drain pipe for good. Instead of doing what I had originally asked and replacing the unit however, this man ended up just putting a bandage on the problem which led to the same problem with the leaking occurring four times over the next three weeks. The worst part about it was that there wasn’t really a away for me to try and escalate the situation or get a refund, as every time that I would call any customer service number for this company they all ended up saying the same thing and let me know that they were working on the situation and would get back to me when they had more to tell me. What a load of lies! If you live up north in my neck of the woods you truly should avoid this HVAC company, because they will do anything and everything that they can to squeeze you for every dollar that you have.
