I only wish other businesses that everyday people need in life would go back to the way it used to be and stop this 9 to 5 lazy junk
It seems that everyone today wants to open at 9am and close at 5pm when it comes to business hours. I really do not understand this. I understand some businesses to be this way, but when you now days find places like grocery stores pulling this in some areas, this is where it gets to be ridiculous and makes life hard. This is why the business I own, which is a heating and air conditioning company is opened until 7pm every weekday, and opened for emergency heat and a/c calls on weekends and after hours. By setting these hours and making sure that HVAC workers are always available twenty four hours a day and seven days a week for regular business hours and emergencies, I ended up becoming the biggest and most used heating and air conditioning company in my local area and surrounding cities! Sure, I have to pay workers more which cuts into the money I make for myself, but at the end of the day it is all worth the effort and loss. Because it all pans out in the end and I make the business work. Sometimes you have to give and take. I only wish other businesses that everyday people need in life would go back to the way it used to be and stop this 9 to 5 lazy junk. I think it has to do with today’s mindset to tell you the truth. But what can ya do? I am just glad I have the sense to run my heating and air conditioning business a lot different.
