I live in the southeastern region of the country.
- The weather is usually beautiful here, and many people move from the Northeast to escape the cold.
Usually winters are mild, and it does get freezing, however it does not snow. Springtime is beautiful and warm; fall is pleasant, with some freezing afternoons. Summers are hot and humid. So far this fall season has been all over the arena with rapidly increasing temperatures, reaching the low 70s with low humidity. I still used our air conditioning in the car and the smart temperature control at home. Then the temperature changed and the days would start off in the 40’s or 50’s with highs near 70. I truly appreciated that period because I love cool fall weather. My smart temperature control turned the heat on when it got cooler, by night, and ramped the air cooling up when needed. Last weekend, the rapidly increasing temperatures were in the mid 70s and it got a little bit more humid. I turned the air conditioning on in the car and our smart temperature control turned the air conditioning on as well. Due to a tropical storm, the weather cooled down yesterday. It was rainy, cool, and windy which was a major change from the weather over the weekend, prompting the smart control to switch to heat. This week, the tropical storm hit, but it was safe to drive. I turned the heat on in the car because our clothes got wet from the rain.
