Back when I was twenty years old my wife and I ended up having our first child together. Back in those days we hardly had enough money to cover groceries let alone take care of a young child! In order to make some more money I began working part time while I was going to school. The only place that ended up giving me a chance with no experience other than a low paying job at a fast food restaurant was this small HVAC company near us. I began working as a junior HVAC repair tech and was lucky enough to pick things up relatively quickly. The owner was also a generous man who was sympathetic to my situation and was willing to work with me as long as I was willing to keep a learning mindset and not get too frustrated. Flash forward fifteen years later to the present day and I am still working at the same HVAC company. I am now a senior HVAC tech and I now spend most of my time teaching young HVAC techs that are in similar situations to mine all those years ago. Working in HVAC has been good to me and I have met so many amazing men and women
